Research Interests:

The goal of the ASTRID group is to use the tools of X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy to determine the three-dimensional structures of proteins critical to infectious diseases. This information provides a “molecular blueprint” for understanding infectious diseases and for developing therapies. Particular emphasis is placed on the “super bugs” that increasingly threaten global health.
